Business Owners Policy (BOP)

A businessowners policy, also known as BOP insurance, combines various insurance coverage with additional protection into one convenient package. Standard BOP

  • Designed for small to moderately sized 
    businesses
  • Building height up to 10 stories
  • Buildings 35 years old or newer
  • Older buildings acceptable with updates
  • Four years loss experience
  • Additional industry specific attributes apply

Home Based BOP

  • Liability Limits up to $1M
  • BPP up to $100,000 with $250 ded.
  • Loss of Income Coverage & EDP available
  • Home based businesses only, no store fronts
  • Optional coverages include: Money & Securities, Garagekeepers, Unmanned Aircraft (states restrictions apply)

Excess Liability coverage up to $10 million is available over the BOP and any other eligible Commercial Auto and Employer’s Liability policies

  • Eating and Drinking Places (up to $15M total sales & 25% liquor sales)
  • Manufacturing & Processing (up to $25M total sales & 15,000 sq.ft.)

  • Rental (up to $10M total sales & 10,000 sq.ft.)
  • Religious Institutions (up to 15,000 sq.ft.)

  • Max $15MTIV per location & up to $1M in employee payroll
  • Artisan Contractors
  • Max $25M TIV per loc. & up to $50M in total sales
  • Habitational (at least 75% occupancy)
  • Hospitality (up to 150 units)
  • Lessors Risk & Self Storage

Additional coverage extensions available including cyber, equipment breakdown, EPL, hired & non-owned auto, liquor liability, and professional liability for select classes​
